friendly staff but basic amenities need improvement

The staff was friendly, making us feel welcome. The lake view from our room added a nice touch and was truly relaxing. Our Deluxe Double Room was clean and spacious, which contributed to our comfort during the stay.

The carpet was pretty gross—walked in with white socks and they were black by the time I left. Seriously didn’t expect that! Breakfast was disappointing, and there was a leak in the food area that no one cleaned up. We had to grab extra towels because they were in short supply. Overall, the room just didn't feel fresh.

great access to parks and historic sites for city strollers

I had such a nice time here due to its proximity to downtown Natchitoches and the beautiful Roque House and Gardens, making it easy for me to enjoy charming walks through the city and scenic views at the gardens. plus, the air conditioning in my room worked great, keeping me cool during my stay.

The location was perfect for family gatherings, and the quiet atmosphere made it feel like home. The helpful night manager was a real highlight!

the super 8 is a great spot with clean rooms and a friendly staff. it’s close to some good restaurants and grocery stores, which is super convenient. the room was nice and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. the staff really works hard to keep everything spotless.

The pressure in the shower was low, which made showering a bit frustrating. I also noticed some visible wear and tear, like holes in the ceiling and a dated look overall. The breakfast setup was pretty basic, just muffins and granola bars, with no place to sit down to eat. For the price, I expected a bit more comfort and cleanliness. I would not choose this location again if I could avoid it.

The carpet in the room felt like it hadn't been cleaned in ages, leaving a foul odor that lingered. The lack of an elevator is quite inconvenient for those who need it!!! A proper maintenance routine is a must!!!
